Bosch hub motor
Instead of a mid-drive motor, this Cube e-bike has a Bosch hub motor with a maximum torque of 45 Nm in the rear wheel. It makes the bike light and compact, ideal for city use and gentle gradients.
Removable PowerTube battery
The 360 Wh battery is removable, so you can charge it separately from the bike. This can be particularly convenient if you don’t have a power socket near your bike rack or other parking space.
UDH derailleur hanger
This Editor Hybrid model features a UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger), a standardised design that ensures the frame is also compatible with future derailleur systems.
Compatible with:
- ACID panniers and accessories compatible with the SIC 2.1 luggage rack
- ACID front bike lights with X-Connect plug - the bike already comes fitted with ACID front and rear lights
- UDH-compatible derailleur hangers and derailleurs for future replacement
Not compatible with:
- Luggage racks and panniers without a CUBE adapter - these will not fit properly on the semi-integrated SIC 2.1 rack
- Additional luggage exceeding the maximum system weight of 100 kg (rider weight + luggage)
- Wheels with an axle spacing other than 12x100 mm (front)

You don’t need to do a thing: Your new Editor Hybrid One FE e-bike comes 100% ready to ride, including pedals, whether you collect it from one of our Superstores or have it delivered to your home (home delivery is available in the Netherlands and Belgium).
- Take the battery indoors to charge it if you don’t have a socket near your bike shed. This is better for the battery’s lifespan than leaving it out in the cold
- Lubricate the chain regularly, especially after a wet or muddy ride
- Check the tyre pressure of your Continental Contact tyres regularly for optimum grip and reduced rolling resistance
- Clean the motor and frame with a bike cleaner without using a high-pressure hose directly on the motor housing
Can I remove the battery from the Cube Editor Hybrid One FE to charge it?
Yes, the 360 Wh PowerTube battery is removable, so you can charge it separately from the bike, for example indoors if you don’t have a socket near your bike storage area.

Does the Cube Editor Hybrid One have a mid-drive motor or a hub motor?
This Cube has a Bosch hub motor in the rear wheel, rather than a mid-drive motor. This makes the bike lighter, but delivers slightly less torque than a mid-drive motor.
What is the difference between the Cube Editor Hybrid One and the Editor Hybrid SLT?
The Cube Editor Hybrid One FE has a lightweight Bosch hub motor, a smaller 360 Wh battery and a traditional Shimano gear system, whilst the Editor Hybrid SLT 400X FE has a more powerful mid-drive motor with Smart System, a Gates belt and an automatically shifting Enviolo hub.
